My goal in doing surgery to change the appearance of t he nose is to give you a nose that nobody notices so that someone looking at you looks at your eyes first. Nasal  reshaping, or Rhinoplasty, can done to change undesirable aspects of the shape of the nose. Bumps in the top or too high of a top can be smoothed and lowered. Excessively round tip cartilage or a cleft between the tips can be reshaped  resulting in a more  natural looking tip. In the process corrections can be made the relieve blocked breathing. In the end, the  nose should provide a good airway and have no obvious characteristics that distract people when speaking with you leaving your eyes and lips the highlight of your face. The procedure is done oral and local anesthesia  and is not particularly painful. The process is conducted with as little trauma to tissues as possible to allow quick healing. A light cast is usually worn for a week and obvious swelling and bruising can last from 10 days to two weeks(rarely). The cost ranges from $2000 to $5000.
